We love good health and we think it's important to spread that love and nurture it in others, so when it comes to keeping clean, we keep your dog healthy by making products which are made only from natural and organic ingredients, so only good stuff goes on your dog, and no bad stuff.
Natural. All of our products are made from natural, wild harvested or organic ingredients, which means they are safe and healthy for your pet, and you don't need to worry about overdose of harmful ingredients which may be toxic to your dog. Organic also means that farmers grow the things we use in our products. Our purchases encourage organic farming methods, which means growth for them. As more farmers grow organically, there is a shift towards healthier food and soil, and less toxic fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides. This means a healthier planet for you, your dog, and all creatures, great and small.
Organic. Black Sheep Organics organic ingredients are certified organic or wild harvested (they grow in the wild) or natural derived. We as a manufacturer, combines these ingredients into new products, which in turn require their own inspection in order to be certified organic. However, we are a small, family owned company, who - much like small organic farmers - can not yet afford the cost of certification, but are working towards this for the future.
Sustainable. Every aspect of our manufacturing process takes place close to home, by people we know, earning a living wage. This means not only are we avoiding the environmental impact of shipping our products long distances, we're also investing in our local communities. We're continually looking for ways to reduce our footprint, from choosing recycled and recyclable packaging to creating biodegradable products from non toxic ingredients.
Cruelty free. All Black Sheep products are cruelty free, which means no animal testing has been done on the products we make, or during any step in our supply chain. We along with our suppliers are registered with leaping bunny program. Additionally, we never use any animal by-products, which means everything we make is Vegan friendly.
Biodegradable Ingredients. We care about the planet and consider environmental impact when selecting our ingredients. Where possible, we prioritize biodegradable ingredients in our formulations as part of our commitment to more thoughtful product development. Like the choosing a bamboo handle on our toothbrush. While biodegradability can vary depending on the ingredients and conditions, we continue to look for ways to reduce our environmental impact.
